Cruise in a golf cart and check out the shopping, Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial, winery, lighthouse, harbor, and warehouse. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to hang out at. Toledo, Ohio

Drive for about an hour and explore Toledo, Ohio. This lively city has plenty to offer, from sporting events to world-class restaurants. Some must-see sites include the Toledo Zoo, the Museum of Art, and the botanical garden. Attend a baseball game at Fifth Third Field. There is also the Hollywood Casino Toledo if you feel like gambling. If you enjoy history, visit the Wildwood Manor House, Fort Meigs, National Museum of the Great Lakes.

Saginaw, Michigan

Only 1.5 hours away from Detroit is Saginaw. Take an adventure on the Saginaw Valley Rail Trail. Explore the outdoors at the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge. Experience the charm of this town at the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History. Built in 1897 to look like a French Chateau, it was once the post office. Or stroll through the Saginaw Art Museum, which looks like a Georgian Revival Mansion.
